Link Between Neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+
Research shows that neurodivergent individuals, those whose brains work differently from what is considered "neurotypical", are more likely to identify as LGBTQIA+ compared to the general population. Studies such as those published by the National Autistic Society and the Autism Research Centre at the University of Cambridge highlight that autistic people, for example, report higher rates of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
